About Us
Ponies have always been in my families blood be it working horses on the farm, breeding stock and fun competition ponies.

My Grandfather John Callaghan stood a Connemara stallion back in an era when the Connemara pony was relatively unknown North of the Border. The ponies gave him some extra money to feed his large family and where always sold when a customer came along.

My mother also loved the ponies and was keen on show jumping and hunting.

I have had ponies all my life and progressed to Irish Draught horses in which I bred, owned and produced All-Ireland Champion, RDS Champion, National show winner and numerous other major Championships in Ireland. My most prestigious moment was winning the RDS Championship with my home bred filly. I served on the Irish Draught Horse Society committee and was secretary for the branch. I also served on the Irish Draught Horse Society for Ireland Breeding Committee and National Show committee. I sold the Irish Draught horses due to a young family and decided to increase my number of Connemara ponies, the Irish Draught’s smaller and more docile cousin.

I purchased my first Connemara pony in 2000 Ballywildrick Smokey Colleen. In 2005 Slemish Mist joined her. Tawin Woodlawn Lily in 2006 and Atlantic Secret Pearl 2006 and finally our Resident stallion Dark Edition in 2007. Tawin Woodlawn Lily was sold in Winter 2007 and was then replaced with Kiltale Jane and so the story continues.
